On May 3, 2024, a scientific seminar was held for teaching staff and students of the Department of Pedagogy of Natural Sciences and Physical Culture on the topic "Trends in the development of the national sport "Kazakh Kuresi", to which the Honored Coach of the Republic of Kazakhstan, PhD, senior lecturer of the Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism Konaev Talgat was invited. 

Konaev Talgat shared his knowledge and experience, telling about the techniques and strategies of "Kazakh kuresi". Special attention was paid to the importance of warm-up, injury prevention, as well as psychological training of athletes. In addition, this seminar was attended by: 1st year student of the Almaty University of Humanities and Economics Pernebek Kuanysh, silver medalist of the Republican Spartakiad in the sport "Kazakh kuresi" and senior lecturer Allenov N. on the topic "Development of national games in secondary schools"

The seminar ended with a question-and-answer session, where participants could ask the speakers questions about the topic of the seminar.  This event was highly appreciated by the participants, who expressed a desire to hold such meetings regularly.
