Institute of Pedagogy, Business and Law

The department of "Natural science pedagogy and physical culture" is a structural unit of the Institute of pedagogy, business and law of the Humanitarian and economic university of Almaty.

The department of natural science pedagogy and physical culture was reorganized on September 1, 2022 on the basis of the department of pedagogy and psychology.

Today, the department operates in 2 areas of Personnel Training:

• Training of teachers with subject specialization of general development
• Training of teachers in natural sciences

Preparation is carried out in 6 undergraduate programs:

• Training of physical education teachers
• Training of computer science teachers
• Training of biology teachers
• Training of geography teachers
• Training of chemistry teachers
• Training of mathematics teachers

And one direction on the basis of the master's program:

• Training of teachers of physical culture and sports

Students of the department are trained by well-known scientists in the Republic of Kazakhstan, honored masters of sports and experienced methodologists in the field of teaching staff training.

Currently, the department employs 18 candidates, 3 - PhD Doctors, 11 honored coaches and masters of sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Teachers of the department conduct active educational and methodological work using innovative teaching methods, carry out scientific work.

They take part in domestic and foreign scientific and practical conferences, publish articles in journals with an impact factor, rating journals and in journals recommended by CQAFES of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The teaching staff conducts the educational process in the form of interactive learning based on modern information technologies.

In order to train high-quality specialists, the department actively cooperates with employers who provide their base for professional practice, as well as for conducting scientific research.

These are such organizations as KazNPU named after Abai, the Academy of Tourism and Sports, the Kainar Academy, the Boxing Federation, a sports club for people with disabilities, the Higher School of sportsmanship, secondary school No. 42 and others.
