OLYMPIAD FOR STUDENTS OF GRADES 10-11 IN SUBJECTS: "BIOLOGY", "GEOGRAPHY", "MATHEMATICS"
Amata University of Humanities and Economics provides a unique opportunity for schoolchildren of grades 10-11 of the Republic of Kazakhstan to unleash their intellectual potential in the University Olympiad. The winners will receive grants and tuition discounts.
The purpose of the Olympiad
is to identify creative abilities and interest in educational and cognitive activities among school students for their further professional orientation.
The stages of the Olympiad:
The qualifying stage (testing) - February 7, 2024.
The final stage (defense of the scientific project) is on March 12, 2024 at the Republican educational and wellness center "Baldauren".

Key dates (2024):

January 29, 2024 – registration opens
February 5, 2024 – completion of registration
February 7, 2024 – qualifying stage (testing)
February 8, 2024 – results of the first stage on the website of the Almaty University of Humanities and Economics https://ageu.edu.kz/ru/ipbp .
February 12, 2024 – the final stage (defense of the scientific project)

 Requirements for presentation design for the II stage of the Olympiad:

The title page
The background and text color should be contrasting (white background-black text) for no more than 20 slides. Pay attention when creating slides.
Do not overuse animation effects;
Use short words and sentences;
Highlight the slide themes;
The font of the set is Times New Roman, the font size is 20 pins;
Don't fill one slide with a lot of information.

     The structure of the work should include the following sections:

Goals and objectives
Relevance
Research questions
Methods
Conclusions and results

Evaluation criteria:

The relevance of the proposed solutions and the novelty (specificity) of the solutions;
The uniqueness of the theme, the realism of the project;
The availability of clear and meaningful project results;
Work performance culture, compliance with ethical principles,
research principles;
The competence of the speaker, including the possibility of conducting dialogue and discussions within the framework of the project direction.

Distribution of grants and discounts for studying at the Almaty University of Humanities and Economics following the results of the Olympiad:
Russian Russian Department, 1st place - grant for free education for the entire period of his studies - 6 people, including 2 in biology (1- Kazakh department, 1-Russian department), 2 in geography (1- Kazakh department, 1-Russian department), 2 in mathematics (1- Kazakh department, 1-Russian branch);
Russian Russian department, 2nd place - training with 50% discount for the entire period of study – 6 people, including 2 in biology (1- Kazakh department, 1-Russian department), 2 in geography (1- Kazakh department, 1-Russian department), 2 in mathematics (1- Kazakh department, 1-Russian department);
