From April 21 to April 25, 2025, the Institute of International Economic Relations hosted a large—scale event - the International Week. This week brought together students, teachers and international experts, becoming a point for discussing global challenges, scientific discoveries and cultural exchange.

Within the framework of this event, V. A. Korviakov, Rector of the Almaty University of Humanities and Economics, spoke, noting the role of education in strengthening international relations and presented diplomas to the rector and the first Vice—rector of the IMEC, indicating that they are now professors of the Almaty University of Humanities and Economics.

The International Week was attended by Candidate of Economics, Associate Professor of the ASUE Business School A. B. Kydyrbekuly with a report "The role of technology import in innovation management".
