On May 28, 2024, at AHEU a meeting was held between representatives of Varna University of Management VUM (Varna, Bulgaria), and the SSC “European Educational Forum” represented by Mr. Pancho Panev with AHEU Rector V.A. Korvyakov. The meeting resulted in the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between our universities and the European Educational Forum. As a result of our cooperation, the project “Euro - British Universe” will be implemented at ASUE, using the accreditation and rights of “Varna University of management”, providing students with high-quality university education at the world level, receiving European and British bachelor’s and master’s degrees, and the university will also organize Center for European Education, which should oversee joint educational programs with VUM and other Bulgarian universities.

This project provides an opportunity for everyone to receive a European education, as well as a diploma from Cardiff Metropolitan University (UK)

Training will be carried out according to VUM programs. The educational process at the university will be conducted in English with the participation of VUM teachers, partner universities from Europe and the USA, as well as local teachers in full-time and distance learning.

For all educational programs, during the period of study at VUM, students will have the opportunity to receive grants, scholarships, paid internships in their specialty and academic mobility at VUM partner universities in Europe.

The usual duration of undergraduate programs at VUM and partner universities is 4 years (8 semesters). All students studying at Euro-British University study:

- First and second courses on the territory of the Almaty Humanitarian and Economic University in Almaty under the VUM program, with teachers certified by VUM. Language of instruction is English.

- Third and fourth year at VUM, and this period includes studies, mobility and internships at partner universities and business organizations. Language of instruction is English.

The usual duration of master's programs at VUM and partner universities is 2 years (4 semesters). All students studying at Euro-British University study:

- The first academic year on the territory of the Almaty Humanitarian and Economic University in Almaty under the VUM program, with VUM certified teachers. Language of instruction is English.

- Second year at VUM, and this period includes training, mobility, as well as internships in partner business organizations. Language of instruction is English.

For applicants who do not have a minimum level of English language proficiency for bachelors IELTS 6 or equivalent, and for masters – IELTS 6.5 or equivalent, preliminary training under the name “EURO-BRITISH FOUNDATION” is conducted on the territory of the Almaty Humanitarian and Economic University in Almaty VUM program, in order to achieve the minimum required level of English language proficiency and basic knowledge. Candidates do not have student status while studying at the EURO-BRITISH FOUNDATION. Anyone who has successfully completed the program without additional exams and other formalities can be enrolled as EBrU students. Students in their final year of secondary school may also be enrolled in this program with the same eligibility.
