On October 12, 2023, the Finance Department held a guest lecture on the topic "Drivers of the growth of financial literacy of young people".

The speech of Marec Jochec, a lecturer at Narkhoz University, aroused relatively high interest among the audience, associated with problems and risks with money among young people.

In modern conditions, a big problem is caused by the increase in the creditworthiness of the population, including young people, as well as the lack of protection of people from the use of digital banking technologies and fraud.

 Statistics of high rates of damages and payments to fraudsters show a low level of financial literacy, lack of knowledge of financial regulation tools with their money savings and income. Therefore, the meeting aroused particular interest in discussing modern approaches to the use of financial instruments to protect and increase the level of investment of money by the population.

The guest lecture was attended by the teaching staff and students of 2.3 courses of the specialty "Finance".
