On April 13, 2017 the International Scientific Conference on the "Developing Industry Academic Links and University Partnerships" project was held at the Almaty Academy of Economics and Statistics.

The participants of project are four organizations from UK such as    «Innovation Action»,   Cavendish Laboratory of Cambridge University,   AGARR,    BASCK Limited and two institutions from Kazakhstan: L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian University (ENU) and Almaty Academy of Economics and Statistics (AAES).

The conference was attended by Dr. Peter Fearon, Director Innovation Action, Dr. Siddharth Saxena, Head of Quantum Matter Group of Cavendish Laboratory, Chokan Laumulin, Doctoral Student of Cambridge University,    Dr. Jumat Kargin, Department of the Technologies Commercialization Director of the ENU, Dr. prof. Kanat Sarsenbaev, professor of the ENU, Dr. Marat Alimov, the Member of Expert Committee and General Secretary of the    Kazakhstan Association for Engineering Education (KAZSEE), Dr. Sali Adilyevich Telbaev, the Member of Expert Committee and Head of the Production and Technical Department of   RSE National Center on Complex Processing of Mineral Raw Materials of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Dr. Dilyara Woodward,   Member of Expert Committee and Director of the Center for Professional Development and Engagement Newton-Al-Farabi,   project participants and representatives of the AESA administration. 

All the reports were heard with great interest. The next conferences in the framework of this project will be held in London on May 7-9, 2017.
