On September 17, 2024, ASUE economics students were invited by the Department of the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty to an Open Day. The students got acquainted with the structure of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the main functions of its Departments.  The leading specialists of the Department introduced students to the fundamental principles of statistics: from the methods of data collection, processing and storage to the ways in which statistical agencies disseminate official statistical information and interact with users of official statistics.

The event was attended by faculty of the Business School, departments of Accounting and Auditing, Finance.
